Honda FCX Clarity Continues Trek to Zero-Emissions

While there are still a flurry of questions surrounding the Honda FCX Clarity, it is still considered a key part of automaker Honda's efforts to develop and sell zero-emissions vehicles.
The FCX Clarity recently hit a 2-year anniversary for its lease program on July 25,2020, where customers can pay $600 per month for three years to lease the Clarity from Honda. Maintenance costs for the car are included, and the lease program is a world-first for a retail initiative for a fuel-cell vehicle.
Honda also began operating a Solar Hydrogen Station in January 2010. The idea behind the station is to fuel the development of home-based regfuelign appliances that would allow for nationwide distribution for the vehicle. In theory, the station would allow users to fuel their vehicle overnight by using off-peak electrical power. During the day the station can also export renewable energy back to the electrical grid, providing additional cost benefit to the customer.
